How to break the chain of excuses?

How to break the chains of excuses. That is the reflection of the day. Excuses, excuses, excuses! That is what life is made out of. We are responsible for breaking the chain of excuses. So I want you to reflect on the excuses that you are creating because you are the Creator of those excuses and no one else. Reflect on what are those excuses destroying in your life. Let’s think of things that you feel stuck in. It could be financial. Let’s think of finance and your weight! You’re struggling with your weight. You’re struggling with your mind and you have all the excuses why you’re not losing the weight, why you don’t have the money to buy anything. Why you don’t have financial freedom. Why you don’t feel happy and you get stuck on the excuses and not the solutions. So today, I want you to concentrate on identifying your excuses and then, taking action one by one, step by step. Learning to destroy and break the chains by doing daily deposits. You have been given the biggest gift which is your mind and your body. So all of the excuses that are suppressing you, you are going to figure it out and you are going to start today. I want you to write in your journal which I hope everyone, if you don’t have it, you need to get a journal where you can write the feelings and this exercise is going to be written down. Exactly what you do everyday within the 24 hours that you’ve been given. What did you do with those hours because the answer is there. Do you know how much time you sleep? How much time do you spend watching TV? How much time do you spend on social media? How much time do you spend playing games on your phone? How much time do you spend procrastinating on taking actions? If you decide to do this and I hope you do because if you’re listening to this podcast it is because you’re curious about how Maria is living her life and I would like to get some of that. So here, I’m giving you a tool that can help you start destroying the excuses that you have been building up throughout your life. They completely put you in a jail and you are going to have to really, really fight hard everyday. Once you change the cycle, it doesn’t become a fight, it actually becomes a challenge that you look forward to. So I want you to start doing that exercise. Get in front of the camera and say to yourself, “ These are all the excuses that I have created. When it comes to my finances, I don’t make enough money. I don’t have an education. I was not lucky enough to be able to get an education from my parents. I come from a poor background. I just am not lucky. I am not being able to make enough money because I don’t have papers. Whatever the excuses are that you are creating, tell it to yourself in a video and then, go to your body. I don’t have the time to be able to exercise. I don’t have the money to go to the gym and I can keep going with the excuses that everyone creates about not being able to work out or not even being able to eat right. I’m so busy I don’t have time to eat my meals the way that I should eat it. I eat late because I’m just so, so backed down by my schedule and all the things that I’m working on other projects… and you continue creating more excuses. Then, when it comes to your mind, I am not happy because I don’t have the right partner. I don’t have, you know, people that like me. I have a job that makes it difficult for me to be happy because I don’t really like what I’m doing. Those excuses, you identify them. Then, you can look at all the bullshit that you are creating and how that is completely stopping you from even beginning to live life. After you do that, I want you to review that every single day. This is your video of excuses. This is the list of how you are spending your day. You start little by little watching a little less TV. Stop living someone else’s life by watching programs of other people living their life, fantasizing of living the life that others are living. Start living your life! How much time do you spend sleeping? Some people sleep more than 7 hours. They say that you need to sleep 7 hours. I always say how I’ve never been somebody that sleeps 7 hours. I don’t like sleeping. If I could have a way where there is a healthy pill that I could take where I am sleeping 2 hours a day that would be all I need. I would be the happiest woman on this Earth. Because the less I sleep, the more I can taste and suck out of life. That is how I see life. I want to maximize every single day of my life because that day will never come back. That opportunity will never come back. But everyday, you have an opportunity to change that particular day. So I want you to stop making excuses. If your finances are not where you want them to be, have you created a budget? Do you follow a monthly budget? That’s what I did! That’s what I do. Do you look at what you bring in and how much you spend? I’ve gotten to a point in my life where I don’t use credit cards. I only use my debit card. I spend what I can spend. I don’t overspend and these are habits that you can create. But if you continue to give yourself all the excuses, you’re going to be stuck. You’re not going to get yourself out of it. You are going to live a mediocre life. If you want to live a mediocre life which is not really what we want and I don’t think you do want it because you are listening to this podcast. Then, it is time to take action! The way you destroy those chains that are looking you in that jail of excuses is by beginning to take action. You identify your excuses. You identify the actions that you’re taking on a daily basis that is continuing that vicious cycle of getting you stuck and you start destroying the excuses by taking action with your daily deposits. Let’s reflect, reset and reconnect.
