The problem is not what you have is what you do with what you have
The problem is not what you have but what you do with what you have. That is the reflection of the day. I was reflecting on time this morning. We all have the same amount of time but our focus and our appreciation of that time is different. It gives us all different results. So I was thinking back on this long weekend and how I got to spend time with my grandkids. I got to spend valuable time with one of my mentees. I got to connect with nature. I went to a wake and was present to the beauty that this woman left on this Earth and then I prepared for the week. I had an extremely productive Sunday. The focus was at the highest. Because of my preparation, my ability to work on all these projects and really feel that I have a handle on all of them was at the highest yesterday. On Sunday, when at 10am, I’m like okay, I’m good! It’s okay! I feel great! I got this! Then I was thinking of my reflection. The problem is not what you have, it’s what you are doing with what you have. I was correlating that to time and then I was thinking of even my body. We all are born pretty much the same way. You know most children are born 7 pounds but there are a few kids that are born over seven pounds. The majority is the same and I was reflecting on how we all have the same body and then we start doing things with the body that either makes us healthy or unhealthy. Makes us gain weight or lose weight. So the problem is not your body but it is what you are doing with your body. The problem isn’t finances. It is what you are doing with your finances. Are you budgeting? Do you understand your expenses? Do you understand if you’re living above your means? That is the problem. It is not what you have but what you are doing with what you have. You can take that and put it into every area of your life. You will realize that the results that you are getting whether they are good or bad, it is on how you are handling what you have. So today, I invite you to become aware. To take this as a little bit of a catalyst for you to start reflecting on the changes that you want to make. Because it is all in your hands. Let’s reflect, reset and reconnect.
