Stop before you explode! That is the reflection of the day. Challenges, challenges, challenges! That’s what I’ve had today from running out of swabs to be able to test for the coronavirus without realizing and having angry patients, having to move patients to another day and then, having a new machine and having challenges there. They just kept coming non-stop today! But what I did, and that is why I’m sharing with you this podcast and I’m actually doing it in the middle of the chaos, was that I said to myself, “Stop! Stop! Go meditate! Then, you’re going to be able to reflect and reset” and that is exactly what I did. I went into a room and I turned on Calm which is the App that I use for my guided meditation. I highly recommend it! I’ve been using that App for a few years now and absolutely love it! I go to sleep with the sleep meditation that I have and in the morning, I try to do the 10 – 12 minutes meditation with a powerful message every day that she sends. But as I did this in the middle of the chaos, what I realized and wanted to share with you is that I want you to try it because the irony is the energy that came to me after finishing the meditation. The clarity that came to me helps me be more productive and helps me be more at peace. Productivity and peace, what a beautiful balance, right? So I invite you today to realize that when you are having one of those insane days that you say to yourself stop before you explode and do whatever technique works for you, for me it is meditation, for someone else it could be taking a 5-minute walk or it could just be a breathing exercise or going and buying some flowers, whatever it is that floats your boat, make sure that you take those 5 to 10 minutes to reflect and reset.
