Leaders Encourage Breaking the Silence That Allows Youth Trafficking

More than 500 students from the Bronx Aerospace Computer and Technology High School attended a human trafficking awareness day. María Trusa, founder of the #YoDigoNoMás Movement and survivor of sexual abuse, and Bob Unanue, CEO of Goya, shared a message of prevention with young people.

Unanue explained that the current is the time of greatest slavery in the history of humanity, so it is urgent to stop the business of human trafficking and raise awareness so that children and young people do not have to suffer the consequences of this scourge anymore.

On her hand, María Trusa was emphatic on the importance of breaking the silence in the face of abuse and sex trafficking, as this is the most effective way to end this silent pandemic.
