How is your connection with your mind, body and soul? That is today’s reflection.
2020 is the year of deep reflection! A year where whether we like it or not has been put on pause. A time where we can make the changes that can ultimately lead us to living a beautiful life. But it is not easy! We are going through a hard time, a painful time, a time where many people will lose their lives and unfortunately, it will be people that we know. It could happen to us. There is major uncertainty during this time, but today I am asking you to take this time, where you are going to have many hours to reflect on how you are living life. Are you feeding your mind with negativity, with envy, with anger, with anxiety, with destruction of yourself, your own being? Are you being kind and loving with your body? What decisions are you making to appreciate your temple because your body is your temple. Are you feeding it nutritious food? Are you drinking too much, smoking, not taking action in the things that can lead you to be in better shape. Are you working out? We all know that working out fuels the body and soul with endorphins. It’s proven that endorphins get released and you
feel better mentally and physically. This is your temple! Ironically, we tend to just take it for granted when we make decisions of being satisfied for the moment; not taking advantage of the concept of delayed gratification. Understanding that when you choose to sit and watch TV for hours instead of going for a walk or exercising, doing something that you know is going to help you have longevity is the biggest praise to our temple. It is a time for Pause, a time of spiritual reflection! Are you connected to something? For me, that universe is God. This is my choice, what I believe in. I’m not asking you to believe in what I believe, I’m just asking you to be connected to something. There is emptiness when we don’t believe in something, a greater being. In the universe there is Darkness and emptiness when you’re not spiritually connected so what I wish for you and what I’m asking of you is to reflect, reset and reconnect! Be grateful for the time that you’ve been given to shift your life in a different direction. Have a blessed day!
