Have I told you lately that I love you? That is the reflection for today. Many of you probably have heard that song that says, “Have I told you lately that I love you?” I was thinking of that song this morning because I have a tendency of thinking of people that I want to connect with. People that have a meaning in my life. Whether it is people that I see often or not. But they’ve contributed to my life to be a better life and I feel that also they are contributing to the world to be a better world. We take these relationships for granted because we feel that they know that we love them anyway. But I like to take my time as much as I can and I try to do this every morning. Sometimes, I reach out to two. Today happened to be one of those days where I reached out to many of my friends because we are so busy and don’t connect as much, especially now during these times. You know that we are going through so many challenges. But ironically, these are the times where we need to hear those words the most. So I want you to reflect on the power of a simple message saying, “ I want you to know that I was thinking of you, I love you and miss you and want to connect with you. Let’s try to get together soon or I’m praying for you. I know that you’re going through a hard time but I’m here for you. And when you do this, the irony is that not only are you feeding love into the world and bringing positivity but it is coming back to you when you get those messages from the people that you connected with. It is beautiful! It feeds your soul! That connection, the human connection is so powerful and sometimes it is also very difficult to keep and to work at it. So please, today, don’t assume people just know that you love them. Let them know what they mean to you. It is a simple text message that could do it. So today, I’m inviting you to reflect, reset and reconnect with your loved ones.
