Energy is contagious. That is the reflection of the day. I was reflecting today on how energy is so extremely contagious whether it is negative energy or positive energy. They are both very contagious. If you surround yourself with positive energy, your outcome, most likely, will be a positive life with positive results. But, on the contrary, when you surround yourself with negative energy, the energy will suck you in and bring you down. It takes a lot of effort to not get sucked in both types of energies. But ironically, the one that I think is the hardest, because we all want to be sucked into positive energy, is the negative energy. It is where you actually speed yourself into it and you crash into that space. That is a space of negativity and it brings you down in minutes, hours, days, months and even years. So I was reflecting on how amazing it is to really be present to the energy that the people around you are bringing to the table. How that energy, if you’re not careful, actually brings you to the same space than people around you feel. So they say, “Tell me who you’re with and I’ll tell you who you are”. It’s the same principle. It is a principle that I know we know for most of our lives. You hang out with positive people, you get positive results. You hang out with negative people and you will become negative. So today, I want you to reflect on the people that are surrounding you and the type of negative energy or positive energy that is being put in front of you. How you are allowing that energy to affect your decisions, your moods, your results, your productivity. Then, you reflect, reset and you reconnect! That is the key! So don’t let the contagious negative energy ruin your day.
