The “First International Seminar, Domestic Violence, induced by alcohol and drugs, in times of pandemic”, which seeks to educate both men and women about the importance of protecting women and the family, lowering the high rates of domestic violence and femicides, was held with great success last Saturday, May 8.
The important international seminar was chaired by its main organizer, Manuel Nuñez, who is also the director of the Committee for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, Inc. and had among its main panelists the honorable Judge of the Court of Justice of New York, Nestor Diaz and Maria Trusa, author of the book “I say no more”, and an important special message from Dr. Milagros Ortiz Bosch, Director of Ethics and Government Integrity of the Dominican government.
